Cuts
to hand (low risk)
We wear correct PPE. To prevent these risks from happening. To
stop cuts to hands wear gloves so any wood or splinters may not get in. Then to stop objects
falling and hitting you must wear boots so that your feet will be protected. We
are working to the health and safety act of 1974.
Method statement
We
first got our PPE on, and then we made our way to the area of the door frame to see
what has happened. Then we marked up a 45 degree angle on the frame and then ran a panel saw
to cut it and when was cut we took it out of place. We took the highest point from
the existing frame and transfered it on to the new frame we were cuttng. We
cut it and then fixed back in place where it was originally and made it level as
well. After we marked out where the original lock plate would be and finished any last
touches and packed away (plus clearance).
Quote
Dear customer
We have inspected your door frame. It has got a split all the way
down the middle and needs to be replaced.
So we will mark up a 45 degree angle and cut existing frame out and then cut a
new piece to same size and replace old frame part.
