Risk assessment

·      Cuts to hands

·      Any alleges

We wear correct PPE. To prevent these risks from happening. To stop cuts to hand wear thick gloves if you run hand over a sharp part in wall. Then wear a dust mask to stop dust getting in the lungs to stop any later in life problems with breathing and then if using filler or sanding down wear the right PPE if you have alleges to them. We are working to the health and safety act 1974.

Method statement

We first got our PPE on, and then we made our way to the area of the wall and looked for any part to fill with polyfilla filler. So we got out a spot bored and put the powder on and mixed to a smooth and good mix and applied to wall putting not to much on wall but a good bit so it fills the small indents and then leave to dry for a few good hours depending on how it is. Then when we come back we lightly sanded it down with a 80p grana of sandpaper and then made any last touches and packed away (plus clearances).

Dear customer

We have inspected your walls and they woodwork and found little dents and holes from when the plastering was done.

So we then made some filler up and filled in the holes and dents to any wall work or wood and left to set then sand lightly on the area so its smooth.

Then after we sand the hole wall and wood work lightly so it will be smooth for a cote of paint on it.

Then made any last touches and packed away (plus clearance).
