We wear gloves or hard hat when working with pipe and overhead pipe work. Lay dust sheets to stop water getting everywhere and also buckets as well.

Method statement

Wear correct PPE .  Find the split, leaks and damaged piping, when we spot the area we stop water mains and we remove damaged area with a bucket under it. Get rid of the damaged pipe, then take the measurements of the damaged area and fix back into place with new joint connectors, then test for any leaks and other problems then finished (plus clearance).

  1. Well done for completing blog. I'm not sure about your defects I agree with blockage in pipe work or poor workmanship where pipes have not been installed correctly. your method statement is still lacking in what you did to carry out the task safely.
