We wear correct PPE to prevent all the risk we have listed not cutting yourself must  be worn  gloves that can help to stop cuts happening then to stop dust in eyes wear goggles to protect the eyes  and last wear knee pads or something to protect knees and last using  angle grinder must be by trained people in using it .We also worked to the Health and Safety Act 1974.


Method statement

The correct PPE shall be worn then we shall cut the pipe that has damage to it then get a clay pipe fitter to rejoin the pipe and make it so that you don’t have any problems with leaking from pipe again we fit it and then make any thing that are needed to be done check the pipe if any other problems and then finish and tidy away (plus clearness).

  1. Well done for complting the blog, I understand some of this one. I know we carried out this task using Plastic pipe, but i did explain that your research should be on clay pipe work as this is fragile. when cutting clay pipes you would use a disc cutter, this shoulod of been noted at least in the risk assessment. I can't seeany mention of disc cutters on the blog. Colud you add to risk assessment please and check your grammer.
