Risk assessment

·        Cuts to hands
·        Objects falling and getting sharp fragments in eye
·        Objects falling on feet

We shall wear the correct PPE to prevent these types of risks that we have mentioned.  To stop cuts wear gloves will installing toilet flushing cistern , to prevent sharp bits getting in eye must wear goggles all times if in case you do drop they tank and last must wear boots to stop your feet getting crushed will also do al they work to they health and safety act of 1974.



Method statement

Wear the correct PPE then we shut of water supply, then flushed the toilet, released locking nuts, then emptied all water from the cistern in toilet and protect the flooring. undo and remove old siphon out and replace with new siphon. Then safely reattach to wall and fit all pipes and turn water back on then test by filling and  flushing and then tidy away  (plus clearance).

  1. Well done for com pleting blog. how ever the method statement needs some work. The method statement should instruct a person the way in which to carry out the work safley, Like a step by step instruction. unfortunately yours has left one of the most important things out isolating/ turning of the water supply to the cistern. Remember I should be able to collect together the tools, materials you list and follow your method statement on how to carry out the work.
