     Limitations of a garden wall

  •      Brick walls are made from compressed earth and, therefore, are susceptible to water absorption. When bricks absorb water, they deteriorate more quickly than other materials that do not absorb as much water.
  •      Additionally, building brick walls can be very time consuming and expensive because each brick must be mortared and placed by hand
  •      The lasting of joints because it may not be long before it needs to be replaced

Heavy or sharp objects

We wear correct PPE to prevent objects falling on to feet and dust getting to areas like lungs and eyes. To get help with any heavy objects and sharp objects then we will be working to the  (HSE) standard  and they health and safety act of 1974.

Method statement

Drill through the mortar around the bricks we are taking out until the bricks come loose.  Once the mortar is drilled enough for the brick to come out of the wall we will remove Next we will chisel and wire brush the excess mortar form inside the wall so when we get to lay the bricks, they will fit perfectly. We will mix up the mortar then Lastly we will fill mortar into the holes and set two common bricks into it, once laid and dried we will brush the whole wall down to a perfect finish and repoint the front to a finished to make it look like a brand new wall.

  1. Hi Lewis
It's interesting to read about your wall project and see pictures.
The letter you have written to the customer contains relevant information but needs to be proof-read.
    First check for sense:
"We will lay dustsheet on for to make less mess apsidal" and "Them last touches that need to be done." need changing to make meaning clear.
    Next check punctuation:
Only one of your sentences has a full stop at the end. Can you see where others need to go?
    Finally, check spellings:
    "apsidal" ?
    "hurs" should read "hours".
I can help you proof-read future blogs, if you like. See you Thurs. Anna
