Everybody has to wear correct PPE. We put up netting to stop falls and objects from falling and put the first set of scaffolding boards to a floor to protect the general public. Will be working to the working at height regulations 2005, (HSE) and they health and safety act of 1974.



Method statement

Before we start on replacing your felt and batten we put are PPE on to protect us and any other things needed to protect you and the public will be doing it to the (HSE) and the health and safety act 1974 and working at height regulations 2005. so we shall start to get scaffolding up and around your house to then tip of rotten batten and ript felt so that we can skip it and start to apply the new felt we get. then when felt has been applied all round the roof we start to mark out battens to place were original concrete or slate tiles
after all that is done and checked that all they battens and felt are well applyed  then we will finish the last touches that need to be done plus clearance.

  1. The blog gives a general idea of how to replace felt and battening. unfortunately your grammer and speling is letting you down. Have tried typing in word your text to spell check and grammer check. Then read through before publishing. Also see if you can recieve some help from Anna on these.
